About the position:

The purpose of this position is to assist the Youth Development Team with the day to day running of the Mullewa Youth Centre, and the delivery of sporting programs and school holiday activities. This position will be guided by the Youth Development team in the day to day running of youth engagement projects as well as mentoring and support for young people.

This position includes support to both the Geraldton and Mullewa Youth Centre’s, however currently we are advertising for the Mullewa area only.

Key accountabilities:

    • Day to day running of the Mullewa Youth Centre
    • Assist the Youth Development team with running after school sport programs
    • Engage and establish rapport with young people who participate in programs.

Job Requirements:

Position requirements:

Successful applicants would ideally have previous experience running sports programs or youth work.

Completion of a pre-employment medical including alcohol and other substances testing is required of all positions at the City.

Remuneration and benefits:

A casual rate of between $25.0902 and $31.9540 per hour inclusive of 25% casual loading will be offered dependent on knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications.
