Description:

The Aurenne Group is a private company who acquired the historic Mt Ida - Bottle Creek gold field, 80 km west of Menzies in 2019.

Last mined by Norgold in the late 1980’s and following extensive resource definition drilling from 2017, a successful PFS and DFS was achieved. Commissioned by GR Engineering Ltd in April and May 2023, the newly constructed Mt. Ida Gold Processing Plant is a 1.5m tpa CIL plant.

As a private company our family owners recognise the most important building block to success lies in the strength of the ‘Team’, and building one that shares the Group’s vision to be different is essential. Sure, the mining industry is strong in Western Australia – but finding the right people fit is no easy task.

At Aurenne we strive to build a quality operation that is ‘special’ where being part of the ‘Team’ is an important component of the work experience. Accordingly, we provide our team with the tools they need to succeed - whether it be ‘new equipment’, or building an airstrip to facilitate easy site access, or even construction of our new Forest Cabin Village at Mt. Ida which is truly second to none.
