This 30 hour per week role oversees the operations and HR of the Fusion Mental Health Units and supports the senior clinician who oversees the case management of residents. They are the senior onsite worker and will ensure staff are well supported, and residents are cared for and supported in their recovery journeys.

The successful applicant will work with our senior staff to ensure high quality of care for our 14 residents aged 18-65 who experience severe and persistent mental illness. With a focus on People and Culture, Operations and WHS, Quality and Compliance and Networking, you will lead and manage our recovery support team to assist residents with living skills and reaching their recovery goals to transition to further independent living.

Job Requirements:

If you have a Bachelor's or higher degree in Social Work, Welfare, Psychology, Mental Health, Disability, HR, Policy, BA or other relevant areas of qualification, experience managing a team, compliance, or policy, and are looking for a new opportunity to work with a team committed to making a difference for those experiencing mental illness, this may be the right role for you. Ability to lead a team of multidisciplinary staff to ensure the smooth operations of the Fusion Mental Health Units in line. This role has a focus on daily operations and compliance and works to support the clinician who overseas case development. Work within policies, procedure and guidelines established by Fusion Australia to support the Recovery Journey of FMHU Residents as per mission statement

Works as part of the team to provide a safe environment within the FMHU that supports residents to embark on a journey of recovery that will enable them to grow in independence and esteem, discover their story and work to complete it and find a place of belonging in the broader community.

Oversite of HR of all team including recruitment, training, and performance management. As part of a team observing and recording resident’s ADLs, interactions, mood, and affect to assist in monitoring for decline. Ensuring that all policies are up to date and in line with Fusion National Policies, Standards and legislation. Recording petty cash and other expenditures as per systems provided. Managing progress towards Larue Licencing, OCP reporting and Standards audits. Supervising Senior Staff. Timesheet approval of senior staff. Participating in training as required. Ensuring risk management plan is in place for FMHU Following policies and procedures Oversite of HR of all team including recruitment, training and performance management. Ensuring that all policies are up to date and in line with Fusion National Policies, Standards and legislation. Managing progress towards Larue Licencing, OCP reporting and Standards audits.
