Are you a dynamic and motivated Heavy Diesel Plant Mechanic interested in a role closer to Home?

You will be responsible for Scheduled Services and Diagnostics/Repairs in order to maintain the safety and reliability standards according to specifications and requirements, and ensure all maintenance and repairs are completed in a safe, timely and quality manner

Job Requirements:

  • Full Time / Casual Rate options – Base + Allowances: increased remuneration potential and pay will be fortnightly;

The Fleet we look after:

  • CAT 988H, 988K & 992K Wheel Loaders;
  • CAT 777F, 785C, 789C and 789D Haul Trucks;
  • CAT D10T and D11T Dozers; and
  • Range of CAT, Epiroc and various underground equipment.


  • Australian recognised Heavy Mobile Plant Trade Qualification;
  • Valid Australian Driver's licence - Minimum C Class or HR (willing to upgrade);
  • High Risk Work Licence - WP, LF;
  • Current National Police Check or willing to obtain one; and
  • Proof of working rights (valid passport, birth certificate, citizenship certificate, or current visa grant notification).

Skills and Experience:

  • Significant post-trade experience with heavy earth moving equipment (minimum 2 years)
  • Exceptional diagnostic and fault finding skills;
  • Ability to work independently as well as a part of the team;
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills; and
  • Demonstrating commitment to Force Equipment’s safety culture and values.
