Amaroo Mining and Civil are a leading Indigenous owned company specialising in civil construction services, with civil and concrete operations across the Northern Territory and Western Australia. As part of our ongoing commitment to safety, we are seeking a talented Junior Health, Safety, Environment and Training Advisor to join our team on a 2/2 roster.


FIFO will be offered from Perth or Darwin, or DIDO for Broome / Derby residents.


As a Health, Safety, Environment and Training Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that our employees receive the necessary training and support to work safely and effectively. This role reports directly to the Health and Safety Manager.

Job Requirements:

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the development, implementing, and monitoring health and safety, procedures and processes
  • Conducting regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulations and company standards
  • Investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses, and providing recommendations for prevention
  • Delivering safety training and educational programs to employees
  • Conducting employee VOC’s for plant and equipment on site
  • Creating and maintaining training materials


Eligible candidates will have:

  • Current driver’s license
  • Construction induction white card
  • Cert IV Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in civil construction or mining
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical
  • Nationally accredited plant operation tickets (RII) – desirable
