Description:

Big Yellow was formed in 2021 to meet a gap in the market where small to medium sized mining enterprises require a mining services company that also provides the leadership, technical expertise and management they need.

What differentiates us from other mining servicing companies is that we are a ‘people business’. We’re passionate about leadership, our people, our culture, whilst fostering genuine partnerships with our clients and suppliers.

About The Roles

We have just surpassed the 12 month mark of our 4 year open pit gold mining contract in Mount Magnet, and are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to commence in July/August.

Key responsibility is the management of a small team of Fitters and Servicepersons on shift, plus overseeing additional contractors rotating in and out such as Boilermakers and Auto Electricians where required.

Your communication and people management skills will ensure you are able to develop relationships with key stakeholders, whilst ensuring accountability in regards to fleet availability.

You will bring a simple, hands on approach to managing the on site workshop, with the ability to problem solve and ‘keep the ball moving forward’.

  • Prior experience in Supervisory level roles
  • High level communication skills
  • Well developed computer skills

Salary is offered in the $190,000 – $195,000 per year range + superannuation and 5 weeks leave, with wages paid fortnightly.

Camp facilities on site include ensuited rooms, Telstra phone coverage, gym and wifi.
