The company has two producing assets: Golden Grove in Western Australia and Capricorn Copper in Queensland and a strategic tenement package and project in Redhill, Chile.

Our Golden Grove mine is located just a short 1-hour flight from Perth or Geraldton. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly and experienced team, providing operational skills to the production of zinc, lead and copper concentrates in a safe, cost effective and environmentally friendly manner. This is a permanent position, with a convenient 1- hour commute to Golden Grove mine site from Perth or Geraldton.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mining Administrator to join our Mining Team at Golden Grove. In this role you will be required to provide administrative support to the Mine Superintendent, Alternate Mine Manager and the Mining Manager.  Support and assist all other Mining Department staff and relief Pitram Administration where required by management.

This role will be offered on 5 days on 2 days off roster Monday to Friday, FIFO from Perth. We offer a competitive remuneration with a quarterly bonus and site allowance

Job Requirements:

The successful candidate will be able to:

  • Provide administrative support to Mining Manager, Alternate Mine Manager, and Mine Superintendent.
  • Relief Pitram Operator in the event of Annual Leave or Personal Leave coverage (including emergency coverage).
  • Perform the administration duties for Contractor site entry in order to comply with both site and company Policies and Procedures.
  • Perform general administration duties.
  • Raise work requests as required by departmental staff.
  • Order goods as approved by Mining Manager and Mine Superintendent.
  • Monitoring and ordering of mining department stationary requirements.
  • Generation of purchase orders across mining departments.
  • Liaise with HR department in respect to mobilising new starters to site in line with site entry Policies and Procedures.
  • Monitor and review administrative practices as required and provide improvement suggestions to Mining Manager.

Skills and Experience:
Education, Qualifications, Tickets, Licenses:

  • Current Western Australian Drivers Licence.
  • General knowledge of underground mining desirable
  • Highly proficient in English, both written and verbal.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar administration role
  • Previous experience working in the mining industry.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Strong task prioritisation skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
