Buru Rehab now has an exciting opportunity for a high energy Mining Rehabilitation Supervisor to join our team in the Southwest as we start a rehabilitation operation, so you will be there from the start to set things up for success!

Supported by the hands-on leadership team, the role will be based onsite and cover all aspects of Supervision. In this role, you will report to the Project Manager and work on a 2:1 roster located in Ravensthorpe, Western Australia. Your focus will be on overseeing daily operations with a focus on the safe and efficient practices.

Job Requirements:

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing leadership and support to your team while ensuring that work is delivered in line with schedules and mine plans.
  • Contributing to the development of systems, standards, processes, and procedures for standardised work management.
  • Reviewing plans and performance to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Driving an engaged safety culture and ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements in all activities.
  • Monitoring the performance of work crews and providing training, mentoring, and coaching as necessary
  • Taking Pre-Start Meetings and ensuring there is a strong safety focus and outcomes.
  • Management of Crew, Rosters, Client Liason and associated administration with the role.

What is Required?

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in mining rehabilitation environments and be well-versed in supervisory positions.

Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of mine safety procedures and regulations.
  • Possession of a Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor Certificate or be in the process of obtaining it.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Mining Supervisory Position.
  • Solid history in Rehabilitation programs highly desirable
  • Current Driver's License.
  • Able to start in the next week or two.
