What is the opportunity?

If you love machinery and have a desire to work and live on a tropical island this may be the opportunity you have been waiting for. We are seeking a skilled maintenance professional who can guide and empower a diverse team towards shared goals.

What you will be doing? 

  • Supervising and leading a team to reduce down time and reliability of the mobile plant fleet;
  • Working closely with the maintenance manager to build a robust maintenance team and plan;
  • Allocating tasks to team members and working with the maintenance team to develop weekly plans;
  • Coaching team members in technical skills and mentoring apprentices and trainees; and
  • Ensuring to achieve the highest standard of OHS&E compliance.

What you will bring along?

  • Trade in MEM30205 Certificate III Engineering- Mechanical Trade or equivalent;
  • At least 5 years of experience in mobile plant maintenance;
  • Experiences in supervisory role in mining sector is desirable;
  • Experience in the use of Pronto is desirable;
  • AVE Inspector Certification; and
  • A valid WA ‘C’ Class Drivers’ License or equivalent.

We offer you in a Monday to Friday work week with on call and occasional weekend hours, a salary this is fair and equal, 11.5% superannuation, a vehicle, allowances for relocation, day-to-day living, and flights to visit your family and friends to tell them all about your new amazing life. The only downside is that the Island, unfortunately, doesn’t allow you to have any pets.
