Job Requirements:

POSITION PURPOSE

Reporting to the OHS Coordinator, the OHS Administrator is responsible for providing accurate and efficient administrative support GMA Midwest Operations OHS team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintaining OHS administrative processes.
  • Helping with WHS regulatory reporting (SRS).
  • Assist in the development of monthly OHS performance reports.
  • Assisting in uploading and maintaining data in SkyTrust (Training records, incidents, hazards, actions, etc.).
  • Coordinate internal and external training bookings.
  • Assisting the operations team in the development of standard operating procedures.
  • Assisting in the development of OHS and operational training packages and material.
  • Manage the ordering of first aid, fire extinguisher servicing and stocks.
  • Assist with induction management for both new starters and contractors.
  • Assist with alcohol breath testing for visitors and contractors, assist in random AOD testing.
  • Maintain site PPE stock levels and other safety related items (pre-start books, tags/tape etc.).
  • Assist site administration team as required
  • Other duties as requested by OHS team.

SKILLS AND SELECTION CRITERIA | RELEVANT QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Office Management or Business Certificate (Desirable)

SKILLS AND SELECTION CRITERIA | ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Proof of Right to work in Australia: Candidates with temporary working rights in Australia will not be considered. Please indicate your right to work in Australia in your application (e.g. Permanent resident, Australian Citizen etc).
  • Current C class WA drivers’ licence
  • High level of attention to detail, time management and organisational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Computer literacy using the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to work within a diverse team, approachable.
  • Excellent communication skills.
