Description:

Due to significant growth, we are looking to fill multiple positions in our business for an Onsite Technician and an Assistant Technician to join our widely skilled team. This role is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work required. You will be supported by a motivated team with plenty of hands on training available and the opportunity to travel WA for work far and wide.

We have customers Australia Wide and have been providing solutions for over 10 Years, in many industries including Mining, Ports, Aviation and Construction.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications & experience

  • Must be able to work at heights in excess of 60mtrs
  • Must be physically fit to work at heights
  • Manual Drivers license
  • Ability to pass a full police check and obtain a MSIC/ASIC card
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test and random screening
  • Must have great mechanical aptitude
  • Must be able to use computers/ tablets and be able to use Microsoft word, Outlook

 

The following tickets are essential, however, exceptions will be made for the right candidates

  • High risk forklift ticket
  • White Card/ Construction Induction Card
  • High risk EWP ticket

 

Tasks & responsibilities, all training will be provided-

  • Onsite inspections to Material Handling and Height Safety equipment and systems
  • Inspections, cleaning and greasing to wire ropes and equipment
  • Repairs and Load testing material handling equipment
  • Service/repair lifting and rigging equipment
  • Using forklifts and EWP's (if ticket is held)
  • Some working away will be required
  • Some weekend work will be required
  • Ability to use angle grinders and other power / hand tools, or have the ability to learn
  • Carrying out works in our Davenport based Workshop
  • Record inspections on both iPad and computer
  • Flexibility with working hours while onsite
