Our Moora Branch has a rare opportunity for a motivated Parts Sales Representative to join their friendly team.

Job Requirements:

Responsibilities:

 

  • To attend to counter service and Customer phone enquires as needed.
  • Promote sales / follow up on sales by all possible means
  • Ensure all parts are charged prior to leaving the premises
  • Ensure the correct computer input of all goods received
  • Charging of daily invoices / packing slips from suppliers to Customers and service job cards.
  • Record regularly the cross-reference of Customer credit notes to original charges and ensure all details of charged are correct
  • Maintain up to date the parts database and price lists
  • Reconciliation of supplier’s invoices with packing slips and ensure all charge details are listed on them
  • Filing in correct location of all parts bulletins, etc.
  • Follow up on all credits that have been returned but not credited within 14 days
  • Take an active role in the weekly, seasonal and general advertising and promotion of the Company and it’s products
  • Correctly placing part numbers on all stock
  • Service and mechanic jobs will be taken by back counter person
  • Parts that are left to be placed in their correct area
  • Front counter – Serve Customers.
  • Unpack all freight
  • Stock to shelves
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in a safe manner
  • Being available for extended hours of business as required
  • Carrying out other duties as directed
  • All filing to be kept up to date daily
  • Carrying out other duties as directed

 

 

The successful applicant will have:

 

  • Retail parts experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of standard Microsoft desktop applications and in-house software
  • Current driver’s license and Forklift license
