Quairading Medical Practice seeks talented workforce who share the vision of continuous professional development and organisational learning to address different health care challenges that will arise over time to continually improve health outcomes for the community.

Tasks & responsibilities include:

  1. Clinical Nurse Care: Provide proficient, evidence-based chronic disease management; preventative screenings; liaise with hospitals, community agencies and allied health practitioners; coordinate infection control process within the practice; triage, recalls, immunisations and other clinic procedures such as administration of medications; wound management, perform bedside tests (eg.ECG), and collection of pathology samples.
  2. General practice environment : Maintain accurate documentation using clinical software including recall/reminder systems, IT and information management; demonstrate understanding of workplace health and safety principles; manage medical supplies and clinical resources within budget; maintain vaccination potency and cold chain systems and other medicine storage systems; participate in quality improvement and management of accreditation processes.
  3. Collaborative practice: Work as a collaborative member of the multidisciplinary team, reflecting the values of the organisation; work on quality improvement strategies with the practice team to bring efficiencies to practice systems, procedures and clinical outcomes.
  4. Professional practice : Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory obligations; ensure care is evidence-based and delivered using clinical guidelines and practice to underpin competency; use health literacy principles to lead patient education, community health and outreach programs as well as health promotion initiatives; practice within the organisation’s policy and nursing standards and codes; undertake continuing professional development; review systems and procedures to ensure efficient and accessible care; consistently be aware of Occupational Health and Safety requirements and comply with them; responsible for training and education of non-clinical staff at orientation and ongoing


  • Salary $80,000 to $87,000 per annum for full time or pro rata for part time.
  • Subsidised 4 bedroom x 2 bathroom family house provided to successful full-time or part-time candidate working at least 3.5 - 4 days per week.

Qualifications & experience:

  • AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse
  • National Police Clearance
  • Working with Children Check
  • Evidence of vaccination in keeping with current Western Australia Government COVID-19 directions regarding vaccinations.
