HMR is a national contractor providing a range of safe, productive and quality contract mining & drilling services to the mining and exploration industry across Australia.

Due to continued growth we are currently recruiting for a Recruitment Consultant / HR Business Partner to join our Team based in our office in Kalgoorlie, WA or Orange, NSW.

Role is residential to Kalgoorlie, WA or Orange, NSW.

ABOUT THE ROLE: 

This is a people focused role which provides recruitment, onboarding and HR support in all areas of HMR’s operational business units for Drilling, Mining and Raiseboring.

  • Requires proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant or similar role within the mining and exploration industries.
  • Familiarity with Australian employment laws and recruitment best practices.
  • Liaise with Labour Hire and all recruiting platforms including social media.
  • Liaise with Operations to understand existing and future hiring needs.
  • Strong proficiency in resume screening, phone screening and interview coordination.
  • Exceptional communication skills and professional demeanour.
