We are seeking a practical-minded individual with mechanical aptitude to operate our roll-forming machinery at our Grass Valley facility. This role involves ensuring the machine's smooth operation, consistently producing high-quality products, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Job Requirements:

Specific in-house training will be provided, with hands-on guidance from the existing team. The successful candidate may also be deployed in other factory roles to gain a comprehensive understanding of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate roll-forming machinery in accordance with company procedures and safety guidelines, including coil changes, tooling changes, width adjustments, and other machine settings.
  • Monitor equipment performance, conduct regular inspections, and produce high-quality products according to specifications and standards.
  • Meet production targets and deadlines as set by the production schedule.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities and quality inspections.
  • Keep work area clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on roll-forming machines, troubleshoot issues, and perform minor repairs as needed.
  • Assist the supervisor in conducting major repairs and maintenance as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes, communicate effectively about production status, and participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.


Key Qualifications:

  • Proven mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand and work with mechanical systems.
  • Physically fit and healthy, capable of lifting 15-18 kg, standing for long periods, and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues and operate machinery efficiently.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other relevant software for maintaining records and data entry is preferred, but not required.
  • A forklift ticket is nice to have.
  • Strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including potential overtime, and adapt to changing workloads and production schedules.
