Role Overview:

Senior Regional Officers at Consumer Protection play a pivotal role in upholding fair-trade standards and protecting the rights of consumers across Western Australia. They analyse consumer complaints, conciliate impartial solutions between consumers and retailers, identify regional trends, and champion ethical trade practices. Additionally, they provide educational programs to the community and actively engage with regional media.

To be eligible for appointment, applicants must either hold a valid work visa (for temporary roles) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or possess a visa for indefinite work and stay in Australia (for permanent roles) at the time of application.
