We service the Civil, Mining, and Forestry industries throughout the Peel Region, and we hold contracts with clients such as ALCOA, Forest Products Commission, Simcoa and the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions.

Reporting to the Business Manager, you will be providing administrative support to our Alcoa Myara and Willowdale sites, assisting the HSE and maintenance teams and onboarding new starters through the client site access and induction processes.

You will be based on site 2 days per week at our Alcoa site based in the Peel region and at our Stake Hill head office 2 days per week with a 1-day work from home option.

Job Requirements:

About the role 

  • Hybrid work pattern – 2 days on site, 2 days in the office and 1 day from home
  • Coordinating and mobilisation requests such as site access and inductions
  • Checking compliance for contractors
  • Organising and booking accommodation for remote workers
  • Maintenance of crew rosters;
  • Administration assistance to the site supervisors, maintenance superintendent and the HSE team, as required;
  • Data entry for site maintenance system, work logs, and site records
  • Data entry and recording of prestart and compilation of daily reports
  • Collection and data entry of service sheets from maintenance crews
  • Accurate and efficient daily data entry of labour hours and equipment use
  • Maintaining registers such as the mobile equipment prestart defect register and the fuel register.
  • Submitting weekly report and monthly report
  • Act as a key point of contact for between site and head office, promoting positive relationships and effective communication.

 Key Requirements For Success 

  • Must be available to work from site 2 days a week – early starts 6AM
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Site administration experience
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs specifically with Excel
  • Must be prepared to work with various software tools and apps
  • Ability to work across numerous tasks and maintain a high standard.
  • High level accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A general understanding of the mobile plant, earthmoving or mining sectors highly advantageous.
  • Must be prepared to complete a Pre-employment Medical and drug and alcohol screen
  • Valid Australian driver’s license
  • National police clearance
