About the role
The Carnarvon Hotel is seeking a shift supervisor to join the team. The Carnarvon Hotel is a quaint country pub, family owned 900km north of Perth, featuring 10 motel rooms, TAB, Beer Garden and restaurant. As hands-on owners, we are looking for a shift supervisor that will carry on the direction and lead our small team with confidence. Carnarvon Hotel is a popular eatery with locals and visitors with an all-day menu. We are seeking someone who can step up and take on the responsibility to lead the team in growth, someone who is passionate about all things Food and Beverage, thrives on providing outstanding customer service and who enjoys working in an upbeat and dynamic working environment.
Job Requirements:
Key responsibilities
- Lead the team with confidence and direction
- Help train and support incoming staff members
- Be hands-on in the business
- Provide outstanding customer service
About you
- Minimum 24 months experience in a similar role
- Exceptional people skills
- High attention to detail
- A can-do attitude towards work and loves working within a team
- Strong knowledge of beverages (Beer, Wine and Cocktails)
- Current RSA, AHA food Hygiene course
- Must have or willing to obtain Approved Manager (Red card)
- Willing to work with the owners
