Dewatering Technician

AIM Mining Corporation is an emerging gold development company with major growth plans underway. We currently operate the Warrawoona Gold Project in the East Pilbara region of Western Australia and are now ramping up underground operations at Nullagine.

As we move into the growth phase, we are seeking experienced and motivated Dewatering Technicians to join us at our Nullagine project.

This role is responsible for the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, monitoring and optimisation of dewatering systems that support our mining operations. Reporting to the relevant supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability of dewatering infrastructure, maintaining operational performance, and supporting safe production outcomes across site.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and monitor dewatering systems across the mining operation
• Operate, troubleshoot and maintain dewatering pumps to ensure optimal system performance
• Conduct inspections, repairs and preventative maintenance on pipelines, valves and associated infrastructure
• Perform poly welding activities, including Butt Fusion and Electrofusion welding, in accordance with site standards
• Identify and rectify faults within dewatering systems to minimise downtime and operational impacts
• Monitor pump performance, water flows and system efficiencies, reporting issues and improvement opportunities
• Assist with bore field operations and groundwater management activities as required
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports and operational documentation
• Operate site equipment and machinery safely and effectively where qualified
• Work closely with maintenance, mining and technical teams to coordinate dewatering activities
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and operational performance
• Promote a positive safety culture through hazard identification, risk management and compliance with company procedures and statutory requirements

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current Poly Welding tickets covering both Butt Fusion and Electrofusion welding
• Strong mechanical pump knowledge with demonstrated experience in the installation, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of dewatering pumps
• Experience inspecting, repairing and maintaining pipelines, valves and associated dewatering infrastructure
• Strong commitment to workplace health, safety and environmental compliance
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team in a remote mining environment
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities
• Excellent communication, reporting and organisational skills
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance activities
• Ability to work safely and efficiently under minimal supervision
• Current Driver's Licence
• Ability to obtain a Valid National Police Clearance (NPC)

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

• Machinery tickets including Excavator, Loader, Telehandler and Forklift
• Experience operating and maintaining diesel-driven and electric pumping systems
• Confined Space and Working at Heights certifications
• Experience with bore field operations and groundwater management systems
• Previous experience in mining, civil or remote-site dewatering operations
