Flow Vitality is looking for an experienced and motivated Chef / Cook to take the lead in our kitchen.
We're searching for someone who brings creativity, strong leadership skills and a genuine passion for great food, while keeping the kitchen running smoothly.
Job Requirements:
THE ROLE
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading and supporting a busy kitchen team
- Managing food ordering and stock control
- Coordinating back-of-house (BOH) rostering
- Menu planning, development and creativity
- Monitoring food costs and cost of goods sold (COGS)
- Overseeing daily kitchen operations and maintaining high standards
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Our non-negotiables:
- Reliability, honesty and a strong work ethic
- Excellent knife skills and cooking ability
- Proven experience in fast-paced kitchens
- Solid understanding of BOH operations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Creativity and confidence in menu development
- Sound knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety
- Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining quality and efficiency
